Methodology

Every claim in CODE19 carries one of four labels:

• Arithmetic
  Plain maths anyone can check, e.g. 114 = 19 × 6.
• Text-dependent
  Results that depend on which text edition is counted.
• Disputed counting
  Results that change depending on contested counting rules.
• Interpretation
  Theological readings, not something maths can settle.

Text-based counts always name the exact dataset (provider, edition, checksum) and the counting rules used.
